I'm pretty sure Pat and Woolie are atheists and I'm guessing Matt is, but I don't want to assume anything.
Liam just worships the entirety of Japan.
Pat strikes me as the Pastafarian type.
There was a podcast where the subject of Richard Dawkins came up and Woolie and Pat turned out to be huge fans of his, I doubt anyone who is a believer of any sort would say such a thing because Dawkins is a very abrasive atheist. Woolie also said his mom's overbearing Christian beliefs pushed him away from religion but were able to push his brother into becoming a priest (From Fox, Two Phantoms were born...).
Matt seemed uneasy on the topic, I get the feeling he's a bit more religious than he lets on, even to his friends. Liam, who fucking knows, he's a fawn just getting his legs stretched out for the first time.
But from snippets made my the Zaibatsu in some of their videos, it would appear that the others have at least experienced at least a little bit of religious upbringing in their early lives or at least having attended church before. In part fourteen of Disaster Day of Crisis, Matt says he has gone to church four or five times and Pat says he has gone to church twice (one of those was for a merit badge) and how the reverend didn't like him.
I think it's smart of them to have never outright stated their standings; They know what is totally un-necessary in terms of our knowledge of them. What's the expression? If you wanna keep your friends, don't talk about religion, politics or.....I can't remember the third.
Point being, I may be in the minority of "don't care/don't wanna know", and the fact that said minority exists is good. Call me butthurt, but hearing Egofaggot make joke after joke about religion after declaring himself an atheist was like....Fuck, I'm sitting back, a non-denominational Christian with no sensitivity (Ya know, so I can enjoy shit) and some how another fat asshole finds a way to offend me. When the Best Friends crack jokes, two important things happen: They stop almost instantly (Or segue off the topic) and they either apologize or just say something like "We're fucking idiots"; I wouldn't ask for an apology, but the latter is pretty genuinely close, in their own way.
I understand how you feel. While I may not share the same beliefs as the people I watch on Youtube, I would rather they respect the beliefs of others instead of bashing them. It's completely unrelated to the content in the videos, so why bring it up and risk offending specific viewers?
the zaibatsu have said time and time again the Lp is about the game however I can't fucking stand when Lper's come out as atheist and start making a shit ton of jokes about religion, regardless of I myself being an atheist its fucking stupid to bring religion into your channel when your channel is about games NOT religion as for pat and woolie being an atheist Im 90% sure that pat and woolie are both atheist, as for matt if he is religious hes WAY more open-minded considering he owns the complete "Preacher" seires (as seen in matt's bomb ass apartment tour 2#) which is a macabe satirical take on southern christianity, and as for liam, hes way too mowae to care
